Per Wendin

Per has more than 35 years of IP experience. After several years as an examiner at the European Patent Office (EPO), he moved into industry where his focus became IP strategies, innovation management and IP commercialisation. His industry career culminated in six years as the IP R&D manager at Spotify. He places emphasis on not looking at IP in isolation but understanding how different types of IP (patents, trade secrets, design rights etc) underpin the business strategy and are key to creating company value.

 

Per has experience across many different industries and technologies, primarily in the software area (AI, music streaming, telecommunications, med tech), but also in a number of mechanical and hardware fields.

 

He has an MSc in Physics from Chalmers University, Sweden.
